01What this company is

Luxury Travel Films Reservations LLC takes reservations for airport transfers in New York City and hands each confirmed booking to a licensed operator, who supplies the vehicle and the driver and carries out the ride.

That is the whole business. We do not own vehicles. We do not employ drivers. We are not a licensed base and we do not hold a permit to carry passengers for hire, and this sentence sits on the first screen of this website as well as on this page, because it is the fact that shapes everything else.

02What that means in practice

• When you book with us, the ride is performed by an independent operator with their own permissions, their own vehicle and their own insurance.
• When we quote, we quote what the operator will charge plus what we know about tolls, waiting and the hour, and we itemise it.
• When something goes wrong on the road, the operator is responsible for the ride and we are responsible for the booking. The terms set that out properly.
• When we cannot cover a run, we say so, because the alternative is a passenger standing on a pavement.

03The name

The desk grew out of a small production services outfit in the west forties that spent a large share of its time moving crews and equipment cases to airports at unsociable hours. In 2021 the car side was incorporated on its own and kept the name it was already known by.

Travel meant the airport run. Films meant the people who kept asking for it. Luxury described the class of vehicle a group of six with eleven cases actually needs, and it still describes nothing more than that.

We are not a film company, we have no connection to any studio, distributor, streaming service or publication, and we have never claimed one. The crew and equipment page explains what survived from those years, which is the working knowledge rather than the trade.

04Who answers

Rennie Duarte runs the desk and answers most of the calls on it. Bookings taken by phone are read back before they are confirmed, which sounds fussy until the first time it catches a wrong terminal.

There is no call centre behind this number and no queue. Outside desk hours it takes a message and the messages are worked through in order when the desk opens.

05Registered details

The state filing number is deliberately not printed here. New York issues those numbers in an unbroken sequence, which means any plausible looking number belongs to a real company that is not this one, and putting one on a website is a way of borrowing somebody else's identity by accident.

06What we do not do

• No payments are taken on this website and no card field exists on it.
• No hourly hire and no car held for a day at a passenger's direction, which is a different service with a different licence behind it.
• No rides that neither begin nor end at an airport.
• No bookings outside the zone described on the service areas page.
• No reviews or ratings are published on this site. We have not collected any in a way we could stand behind, and inventing them is the oldest lie in this trade.
